Perhaps one of the most lovely pieces I have ever built and smells good too!  This is a cedar fence gate built using mortise and tenon joinery.

Everything about this gate has me swooning:

• the proportions
• the tongue and groove
• the x detail

This is a replacement gate for an old rotted out gate and it will be painted but for now let’s admire the cedar in all it’s natural beauty.
